Michael has been active in the Genghis Con community since his first
convention as a minion. Since 2007 he has served on the committee of
Genghis Con in a variety of roles including Panels coordinator, Venue
Liason, OCM and President. He has completely enjoyed working on the
committee.

I have been a relatively active member of the Perth Science Fiction and Fantasy community for the last decade or more. I have attended all but 1 Genghiscon, and have
been to about half a dozen Swancons, as well as many movie screenings run by both and other events. I’ve previously been on committees for university clubs and have
enjoyed the different experiences that come with being responsible for various details of running the club or convention. I am a gamer mostly, and am usually found
in the board gaming room at a convention, though can also be found in the console gaming area and have been known to attend ponels on occasion.
This year I am the Program Coordinator for Genghiscon, as well as advising them on accessibility issues, for which I am assisting the Swancon Committee with the
next 2 years.

My Role: I’m here to organise all the gaming side of things for the con, such as; table top gaming, board gaming, card gaming, LARPs, Console gaming, and out door activities. If you’ve got some questions or looking for something game related during the con, feel free to approach me :)

Favorite console games: Portal 1&2, Fable 3, Forza motorsports 3, Super Smash Bros Brawl and all the NFS games

Greg is the 2011 video stream coordinator, in charge of arranging 3 days of video entertainment for con-goers. There’ll be a wide array of things on show, from classics and crowd favourites to the strange and obscure. Contact Greg if there’s anything in particular you’d like to be screened!
